Why We Are bringing Odoo ERP to East West University (And Why You Should Care)
As a developer, We often see students graduating with great academic records but struggling to find their footing in the competitive job market. This week, my company, Dot BD Solutions Limited, is partnering with EWUCoPC to change that narrative. We are hosting a day event titled "Unlock Global Career Opportunities: ERP Decoded".
Here is why this event matters and why We Are personally excited to lead the Day 2 workshop.
The "Hidden" Job Market
Everyone talks about AI, but the data tells a different story. The demand for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) skills has grown by 550%. These systems manage everything from finance to HR for major companies.
Currently, there are tens of thousands of Odoo installations in Bangladesh, but only a handful of certified developers. That is a massive gap. For a fresh graduate, this means less competition and a much faster track to senior roles compared to other tech sectors.

Why Odoo?
We chose Odoo because it is Open Source and Python-based. Since most CSE students already know Python, the learning curve is short (2-3 months) compared to other enterprise software giants that take years to master. Plus, the Community Edition is completely free to learn.
