Is Kormi Core HRM only attendance software?+
No. Attendance is the starting point. Kormi Core HRM includes employee management, leave, payroll, reporting, approval workflow, recruitment, appraisal — and can grow into full Odoo ERP on the same platform.
Are biometric devices included in the package price?+
No. Package price covers software + attendance device integration. Biometric device purchase, physical installation, and networking are quoted separately. ZKTeco is the primary device ecosystem; Hikvision ICAS-supported devices can be added on request after model/API validation.
Do I need my own domain name?+
No. S1, S2, S3, and B1 packages include a free sub-domain (yourcompany.dbslhrm.com) with SSL certificate. Higher tiers can use a custom domain — either yours or one we register for you.
Does Kormi Core HRM support Bangladesh Labour Act and payroll rules?+
Yes. Kormi Core HRM supports Bangladesh-ready HR and payroll configuration such as Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity Fund (GF), WPPF, leave types, income tax calculation, overtime, festival bonus and company-specific salary rules.
What's the difference between Community and Enterprise?+
Odoo Community is 100% open source with zero per-user license fee — ideal for SMEs. Odoo Enterprise is Odoo's official paid edition with advanced reporting, Odoo Studio, and premium support — ideal for large corporates. DBSL's ZKTeco module works with both.
Can I upgrade my plan as the company grows?+
Absolutely. You can upgrade from S1 to S3, or B1 to Enterprise at any time. All your data — employees, attendance history, payroll records — migrates seamlessly. The platform grows with you.
Can I customize the payroll policy?+
Yes. Allowances, deductions, bonus structure, late fine rules, overtime calculation, loan EMI deduction, PF/GF settings — all configurable based on your company policy. Custom payroll development is available for complex requirements.
